Ever since I can remember I loved drawing as well as organising and balancing out objects.
About 10 years ago I got my first job as creative designer at Boomerang Publishing. There I've worked for 4 years doing concept development, art direction and graphic design.
After Boomerang Publishing I moved to Suriname, South America where I've lived from 2005 till 2009. In Suriname I opened a design studio called NoMoreMountains. It stands for no limitations and reminds me everytime again the world is yours. Suriname was great but I never planned to stay that long. I actually went because I was born there and also wanted to travel to other South American countries. I decided to backpack across Brazil for 6 months and go back to Amsterdam. It was a wonderful experience.
At the moment I'm a creative designer at LIV Creatie.
I started out designing mainly magazines and corporate identities. At some point I started designing websites. Bit by bit I've learned (x)HTML/CSS and how to create dynamic websites with the Drupal CMS.
I like being transparant and not making things complicated. I need to motivate the choices of my design. That's why It's important to have background information; to know where clients are coming from and where they want to go. Through all my work there definitely is a common theme. My work is simple and clear.
